This movie is definitely, solidly in the category that it's so terrible that it's a classic!! If you tried to over-act and play roles as total cliches, it would be hard to reach the level this movie attains. I bet they had lots of re-takes because they'd laugh at how ridiculous the movie is. Somewhere, there needs to be a special website/institution that collects the best of the bad movies. I first realized this was a genre with "Snakes on a Plane," that was intentionally terrible. The argument has been about whether it was bad enough to be bad for the ages or just a little beyond mediocre. I'm not an expert.
